The View Tube is open for business as usual through all the summer events at London Stadium

4 July 2017

From 9th July until 13th August, we’re excited about the packed summer of events at London Stadium! There’s the Muller Anniversary Games on 9th July, the World ParaAthletics Championships 14th-23rd July and then the IAAF World Championships 4th-13th August.

If you’re heading to watch any of these events, the View Tube will be a great place to hang out before and after your trip to the stadium. The cafe will be serving it’s fantastic food and drink and the back garden will be the perfect place to relax.

Equally, if you just want to visit the cafe as normal, that’s great too. We’ll be keeping our regular hours of 9-5, seven days a week.

How to get to us during the summer events

The View Tube is on the Greenway just south of the London Stadium, in between Pudding Mill Lane and London stadium.

Access from the Westfield / Stratford direction is harder than usual due to temporary structures on the South Lawn.

From Stratford, there are two options:
1. Hop on the DLR to Pudding Mill Lane, which is just one stop. Then when you get out of the station, turn left and it’s a 3 minute walk (the purple line on the map pictured)
2. Or walk Westfield avenue, past the Information point, over Waterworks River, turn left at the Orbit, double back left over Thornton bridge, hit Pool St then take the footpath which cuts across to Loop Rd. Loop Rd then takes you to the Greenway. (This is the green line on the map pictured – it’s about a 20 minute walk.)
