VT: Newham Poetry Group

The Newham Poetry Group will be running new sessions at The View Tube! Commencing Wed 6^th November from 11am to 1pm over a 5 week period, culminating with an Exhibition of all the poems! We will meet at 150 High st for a creative walk to the View Tube, gaining inspiration from our environment and each other before commencing our poetry session.

Why:
Poetry helps to reduce social isolation, increase confidence, boost self-esteem and support people who are holding unconscious stories that need to be released. This project facilitates safe and creative spaces where people feel seen, heard and empowered to be part of the community.
