This Saturday 10am, Bromley By Bow’s charity bike ride will be setting off from the Viewtube! The fundraiser is crucial in supporting the charity’s covid-19 response and we need your support! <3 Click here to sign up or donate
It’s time to cycle your way. Your ride, your pace. GET ON YER BIKE, WHICHEVER WAY YOU LIKE:
Ride 10k with us on the 10th of October in a socially distant group of 6.
Or
Ride solo or with friends on a 10k route of your choosing …go even further and cycle whenever, wherever and as far as you like!
The choice is yours.
During the pandemic, cycling has been a lifeline to our communities, reducing stress and getting us moving at whatever speed suits.
We’re building on that momentum and fundraising for the Bromley by Bow Centre’s Covid-19 response.
From Barcelona to Bow, our fundraisers are taking part all over the world and include:
Barcelona- Joe (pictured blue skies) takes on 100k
Brighton -Tom rides 10k
Berlin- Ailish and Phillip cycle Berlin and Bad Bocklet in a nice slow and flat ride
Beautiful Crail Scotland, Mirran takes on 10k
Bozeman, Montana, USA- Mike will bike 10k, then summit 10,000ft peak.
Bromley by Bow- Katy and Miriam take on 100k from Bromley by Bow to Little Bromley in Essex

This is a devastatingly lonely time for our neighbours. Local charities like our ours are more crucial than ever in making sure people connect to others.
Our frontline phone caller team recently updated us about the challenges being faced by our community:
“He told me he had taken an overdose. Has not eaten and has no food. Told me he doesn’t get hungry. I suggested mutual aid could help him with his shopping and he said that would be great. After chatting a bit more he said he now didn’t want the shopping. I realised he didn’t have money to pay for the food. I suggested we can get the foodbank to help him.”
£10 from a friend towards your cycling efforts helps cover a phone call to an isolated resident like this.

There’s no minimum sponsorship, but a target of £10 or more is a great place to start.
